You have been invited to take part in the Masticationpedia Ethical and Scientific Board (MESB) and in the wider Masticationpedia Scientific Community, an international open-access initiative on mastication physiology, neuromuscular modelling, orofacial pain and AI-supported diagnostics.
Please read the meaning of your decision before clicking on one of the buttons below.
What ACCEPT means
By clicking I ACCEPT, you confirm that you agree to:
- be listed as a member of the Masticationpedia Scientific Community;
- be considered, if appropriate, as an independent advisor within the MESB;
- offer occasional, short, asynchronous comments on scientific or ethical aspects of the project.
No meetings are required, no administrative duties are imposed, and you remain completely free to contribute only when and if you wish.
What DECLINE means
By clicking I DECLINE, you simply indicate that, at this time, you prefer not to participate in the Masticationpedia Scientific Community or in the MESB.
Your decision will be fully respected and recorded only for transparency in the internal MESB register.

What ACCEPT means
By accepting, you agree to:
- serve as an independent ethical/scientific advisor;
- offer occasional comments or short evaluations (asynchronous; no meetings required);
- have your name publicly listed as a MESB member.
No operational duties, no administrative responsibilities, no workload beyond brief evaluations.
What DECLINE means
Declining simply means that, at this time, you prefer not to participate in the MESB. Your decision will be fully respected and will not affect your relationship with Masticationpedia.
You may optionally write a short polite sentence when you decline.
