	~~The~~ Växjö series of quantum theory conferences is arranged by ICMM, International Center for Mathematical Modeling in physics, engineering and cognitive sciences, at Linnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden. It is devoted to quantum foundations, information and novel quantum technologies (cryptography, random generators, imaging, computing) and probabilistic foundations. The main point is that quantum mechanics is essentially about a novel representation of probabilistic data and predictions about the results of random experiments.		== Les conférences de théorie quantique de Växjö ==

	~~This is the longest continuous series of conferences on quantum foundations since the creation of quantum mechanics. La série de conférences de théorie quantique de Växjö est organisée par l’ICMM (International Center for Mathematical Modeling in Physics, Engineering and Cognitive Sciences) à l’Université Linnaeus de Växjö, en Suède. Elle est consacrée aux fondements de la mécanique quantique, à l’information quantique et aux nouvelles technologies quantiques (cryptographie, générateurs aléatoires, imagerie, calcul), ainsi qu’aux fondements probabilistes.
			L’idée centrale est que la mécanique quantique concerne essentiellement une nouvelle représentation des données probabilistes et des prédictions relatives aux résultats d’expériences aléatoires.

Une ouverture à l’expression d’opinions sur l’origine et les problèmes des fondements de la mécanique quantique, leurs relations avec les questions de la théorie des probabilités, ainsi que les voies possibles de leur résolution.

B). La création d’un environnement d’interaction active réunissant des experts de tout premier plan en théorie et en expérimentation, ainsi que quelques philosophes.

			De ce point de vue, cette série de conférences est véritablement unique. Il n’existe rien de comparable ailleurs dans le monde. Dès les premières éditions, j’ai également cherché à impliquer des mathématiciens purs afin de favoriser le transfert de connaissances entre les mathématiques et la physique.

== The quantum theory conferences in Växjö ==

The Växjö series of quantum theory conferences is arranged by ICMM, International Center for Mathematical Modeling in physics, engineering and cognitive sciences, at Linnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden.
